One of the most famous conceptual choreographers in the world

After studying dance at the Vienna Conservatory, Willy Dorner was a dancer in various companies and in his own works. Willy Dorner’s “Bodies in Urban Spaces” is an example of how art comes to life, it’s an ever-changing itinerary staged especially for a group of dancers. He describes his work not as dance, but as choreography. “In its original definition, choreography is the arrangement of bodies in space at a given time,” he says. Dorner plays with the urban environment, raising the pressing issues of urban life.

There are some pieces that are very difficult and dancers can only maintain it for a minute. But ideally they stay three to four minutes before they run off to the next place. It also depends on how big the audience is.
