Arie Lamdan draws and paints in many different media and techniques including oil, watercolor and etching, and sculpts in different materials such as clay, wood and metal.

The influential school of existentialist philosophy was an important source of creativity for this artist, due to the special approach to the human form and the suffering associated with human conditions.

Lamdan teaches painting and drawing in various institutions. He lectures on art history and guides art tours in Israel and in Europe.
