Imagine being able to swim freely in the ocean, without any fears of life down there or needing oxygen

Guillaume Néry broke the world record for deep apnea four times and was twice awarded the title of world champion. In 2015, he quit competition following an accident, when he was trying to break the world record at −129 m for the fifth time, an organizational error taking him to −139 m.

Guillaume’s quest goes well beyond simple sport. Combining aesthetics and performance, films and exploration, Guillaume practices his discipline as an art, his way of life.

This dude runs in wet jeans, underwater, without breathing apparatus, barefoot on the ocean floor when we hardly run under normal conditions.
